The pictures are good but the music is awful.

I like small butlers pantrys but would use it more for storage of crock pots, baking sheets, and dog food than a place to prep. Although i do love a 2nd sink!

As someone on the autism spectrum, I find maximalism way too overstimulating and wildly impractical. I like color in my rooms, but I want it to look cohesive and not like a toddler just dumped all their crayons into a waffle iron.

I LOVE a green sofa (couch), loveseat, chair, curtains -- I love this color in my home, PERIOD. - I hate that people feel the need to attach ownership and symbolism to EVERYTHING; that is a bit sad. People who feel the need to do this type of thing will eventually move on to the next color/object to "own." - Anybody and everybody can like/love/want the color green in their space, PERIOD. - Green is simply a LOVELY color. ----- *A color prominent in GOD's nature* ----- *Timeless* - I have always and always will LOVE the color of green and it is going to be in my home in some form, shape, design, living -- and it means NOTHING MORE than I love the color green, PERIOD. - Social media is soooooooo dysfunctional..... 😵‍💫

I love this style.

Ivy grew through the neighbor’s roof line and was growing INSIDE the house! It took $2200 to remove it from the backyard. The guy who rented the house neglected it for 20 years. The owner was livid about how much it was for removing it. But he never checked anything either. It just grew and grew into a massive pile in the backyard, several feet deep. Rodents and a family of raccoons lived in there. It was crazy.

Hallo 😁, all the Pros are correct. I've got some "freeclimbers" on my walls. But i have to mention some SERIOUS CONS ☣!!! We all know, that Poison Ivy cause Skin Issues. An itch to scratch is one of the mild Symptoms. But WISTERIA IS PURE POISON! As beautiful it looks, this plant can even kill. When you touch it - especially get in contact with the Liquid - immediatly wash your hands! Don't get in contact with your mouth, eyes... Take care for Children! But you are right. For all who chose to green a house, think of what you want and need, what the plant requires to thrive and if your new housemate is a peaceful Fellow, Seymore! 😉🤣 Thank you, Greetings from Germany 🤗🌱 alex

I know it isn't my color but I am really obsessed with color green right now, I know the color but I don't know it's exact name XD I guess it is just darker than army green or darker than mossy green. I am saving up for it to renovate my room in the near future... hopefully.

I was inspired by what you said. I’m outside in my backyard, where I spent all of last summer clearing out, leveling with rakes and shovels, tamping down and finally covering with weed sheet and artificial turf. Added the fairy lights and a bench, pergola coming soon. It’s so nice out here tonight, too! 🥰

Slow design is definitely a work in progress kind of thing. I’ve been working on my place since 2021. I have changed a few ideas along the way, from space uses to paint colors. It’s fairly consistent. But it’s been tweaked for sure. It’s actually taking me a while because I’m doing it all myself. I’m not hiring anyone to do things. I’ve painted ceilings and cabinets and literally everything in between. So it’s forced me to take it slow, regardless of knowing what I want it to look like. House of Valentina took 7 years to get the look she has. Julie Khuu, 10 years. Ashley Childers, 2 years, just for her garden. It’s definitely the journey and not the destination!

Your friend who got into Modern Farmhouse is a symptom of a larger problem - people’s lack of imagination. There are so many people who don’t actually know what they like. They’re kinda indifferent to design. They don’t get much further than just wanting a place that looks put together for family and friends. What that looks like, or how they want to achieve that, is open. This is _why_ people hire designers to get them a nice looking place, without them having to actually think too much about it. These are the people who can’t actually picture things in their heads. They have no inner dialogue. It’s kinda crazy to think about. But it keeps us designers in business!

Slow decorating is really smart decorating, especially if you want to avoid a cookie-cutter home. I usually know how I want to decorate (been collecting vintage pieces for years). My problem is decorating before I've fully figured how I need that space to best function. I've found it's best to live in it for at least six months, and then re-evaluate how I use it. Had to do lots of unnecessary rearranging. Slow decorating rocks! Great info. Thanks.

I have an ornate ( tufted with large crystals) brown velvet couch. I’m trying to find the perfect uplifting color to go with it. I have dark brown hardwood floors.
